Versa casts ''Disguise Self'' to appear as Khajit, but wearing a ribbon around her wrist to tip off her teammates that it's her. Gael manages to knock Encyea unconscious and end Tallulah's ''Wild Shape''. [[Friend]] stands in the way of Michel's attacks on the unconscious Pine, giving himself up for Pine's continued survival. Khajit is left unconscious by Versa, fails a death save, and succumbs to the hazard effect to become the first elimination.
Tallulah signals a codeword to Michel as her eye glows and heals him. He uses his ''Thunderstep'' again to bring both of them to the aid of the unconscious Encyea. Ricoril heals Pine and strolls over to the Khajit-disguised Versa with the intent to update her on the situation, but thinks better of it and makes a show of attempting to attack her. Pine casts another ''Shatter'' at the grouped up enemies, putting Encyea dangerously close to being eliminated.
Enraged by the attacks, Tallulah invokes a 5th-level ''Moonbeam'', hitting both Pine and Gael, and shunting Gael back into their unmasked [[changeling]] form. She then ''Wild Shape''s into the large reptile again and positions herself over the unconscious Encyea and infront of Michel. As retribution for the ''Moonbeam'', Gael fires one of the lightning arrows Encyea gave them previously at Michel; while the attack misses, the residual crackling energy is enough to finally take Encyea out of the fight, ending the unofficial ranger duel.
Michel directs his gaze towards the invisible Versa, announcing that she may have outwitted him, but not the perceptive Tallulah, as he successfully casts ''Banishment'' on Versa<ref>Versa rolled a natural 1 on the saving throw</ref>.
