[[Tae]] greets them and introduces the rest of the group - [[Blithe|Sister Blithe]], [[Tanari]], and [[Hondo]], the last of whom was in the process of stuffing his face with bacon. They discuss matters of divinity, worship, and the nature of the respective parties' interest in entering this tournament. Hondo challenges Gael to an arm wrestle which, while not a complete blowout, is handily won by Hondo.

[[Versa]] sits back and watches the goings on, eventually joined by [[Kal|a roguish half-elf]]. Through the use of thieves cant, the two come to a common understanding of their shared history in piracy and other such roguish activities. He introduces himself as Kal, notesnoting that Versa and her group wereimpressed impressive,him. and that heHe hopes to be able to have a match against his group, [[Gloryseekers]], but with the way the bracket shakes out, it's not likely. However, toTo help hedge that bet, however, he provides Versa with some intel on their next opponent, because it would be a shame if F&F were knocked out in the first round after such a performance.
