| Versa, age 18, broke into a tavern in [[Blancgarten]] to steal a recipe/instructions about how to brew rum. She made some for herself and [[Kismet]], but taste tested it first, finding out it was intentionally a poisonous brew. She walked through the streets high as a kite, completely out of it, bursting into tears upon seeing a cute butterfly, telling whoever stopped to help her that she thought they were an angel and she was in love with them. She woke up the next morning alone, in a room at the inn, with a bad hangover and a bunch of notes on how to brew rum that she had misread (or, alternatively, were deliberately written to be poisonous by the tavern owner so that anybody who steals their recipes would learn a hard lesson), and a new passion for brewing poisons. But importantly, no memory of what happened after she drank that rum. Which means she has absolutely no idea that that is the very first time she met [[Magpie]].

| Versa has been trying to learn how to knit to figure out what to buy for Magpie. She’s dyslexic so she’s not good at reading patterns so she fucks it up a lot. She throws many of the projects overboard before anyone can see them.
