Dutifully, Nyarla scampers up onto his shoulder. Noting that Nohbody's team, [[Always Sunny]], will be facing [[Seda Squad]] in their next matchup, he asks her to give [[Seda]] an extra punch for him. She agrees, and replies that she wouldn't be the only one. He walks away with Nyarla on his shoulder, but the rat leaps off and back into Nohbody's care.

Engaging in pre-match activities. Versa successfully Sabotages their rivals, allowing for a weakness to Piercing damage. Ricoril leads a Hype Squad to drum up crowd support for the team, earning the maximum bonus. Gael and Pine gather intel about their rivals, aided by the information Kal gave to Versa earlier.

Flipping a coin, Friend and Friends chooses their starting quadrant first, selecting the northeast corner; the Lunar Rose Guild chooses the northwest. The two teams take their places and await the start of combat.
