Template:Hatnote templates

These templates create a hatnote, or a small notice at the top of an article or section directing readers to another place they may have been attempting to get to instead.

If placed at the top of an article, these templates should go above any Infoboxes, notices (such as {{stub}}), and images so that a reader can be directed to the correct place as soon as possible. If placed at the top of a section, these templates should go directly underneath the section header, above any images at the top of the section.
