Background

Chip served as the gunner aboard the Avarice. He joined the ship with Magpie as part of the merge.

Relationships

Magpie

He served under Magpie on her old ship. When she joined the Vices, he followed her. He remains extremely loyal to her.

Versa

Chip has a strained relationship with Versa, who distrusts him for being one of the crew members who voted for her execution. He has, however, apologized for his role in the mutiny.

He briefly considered letting Versa trade herself in for Magpie's freedom, but only if Magpie agreed.
