In 308 WSK, a settler scout was mapping the Sagawood in search of a suitable location for a new settlement. Over the weeks, the scout repeatedly encountered a dog, who they named Jarren, that kept them company, but always left by the next morning. One day, Jarren stuck around, and led the scout to the location that would become the settlement's beginnings. After a few weeks of construction, the newly dubbed Jarren's Outpost was founded.
