"The Fey Swap" (1x03) is the 3rd session of the first campaign of Itora. The party pick up a new member, some new quests, but lose a member in the process. Gaining a tiny fey ally, they journey towards the source of planar energy in hopes of finding answers. On the way they discover a missing person and send him on his way to safety.
Synopsis
Went to the Daith Guard Post
Versa wishes to talk to Captain Morris, but she isnt available
Asks about work, is directed to the guild hall
Guild Hall
Lots of public Classified ads outside
Inside has several notice boards for various areas
Picked up three new quests
Missing Person: Nooris Paryn
Wanted: Captain Vice
Travel Disruption: Corthon Woods
Versa takes every copy of the Captain Vice notice
Strategizing about how to approach these missions
Ultimately chose to just set off into the woods
The party scavenges for poison supplies (2h)
Day’s Travel - 8 hours, 24 miles
Versa attempted to make poisons Fueryon seemed to be drawn somewhere in a charmed fashion
The party manages to stop him and he snaps out of it before walking to a deep ravine
Bridge
Fueryon continually in and out of charmed control
The party attempts to tie ropes to keep them together in case one falls
Versa first, then D’Bonk, then Lurtak holding Fueryon
Fueryon bites the rope, Lurtak pushes him forward
Dbonk attempts to pull him the rest of the way
Fueryon’s charm breaks, he gives Dbonk his pack as he feels the bridge wood breaking
Fueryon falls into the chasm, but seemed to be engulfed in some portal-like glow
Loot: Versa found 5 gold, satchel
Met Meri hiding in the brush
She understood parts of Elvish from Versa but only enough to nudge the party to help her
The party follow her down the road for a few hours
The party finds a strange small shrub
A clown car filled of rabbits emerge from it, a few at a time, then a fat rat who made its way across the road
A mystical shimmering portal in the distance between arched, interwoven trees
The portal seems to stop just as Meri attempted to enter
Gael appears, offers aid
Versa draws a dagger
They explain they know Sylvan and about Fey Crossings, they may be able to help
With Gael and Meri, the party ventures towards where their senses draw them
Ravine
Meri reunited with her brother, Nutmeg
They soon sense something approaching, the party attempts to hide
Only Lurtak is noticed, the party is forced into combat
Fought 3 Gnoll Hunters and a Gnoll Pack Lord
The gnolls kept the high ground, gave them great advantage in the fight
Gael Telekinetically pushes a gnoll off the cliff
Pixies with some clutch spells to confuse or slow down the Gnolls
Lurtak goes down, but rolls a nat 20 on first death save
Loot: 3 Longbows, 1 Glaive, 2 Spears, 20 Arrows
The weapons are strangely military grade

Forest House
Next Day - Traveled for three hours
Found a Forest House
It was ransacked, a horse in the stables
Nooris drew a dagger on Gael, thinking the party were a threat
He is the Missing Person
He says he cant go back yet because his horse was still healing
Gael casts cure wounds on horse
Nooris says the party can stop by when they are in the city again to meet his Husband
Gael reveals that they are a Changeling
D’Bonk and Versa seem to believe they’re just a Satyr
