"The Gods Stay Silent" (1x15) is the 15th session of the first campaign of Itora.

The party travel to their Oasis destination and receive an ominous vague threat from the Order of the Voiceless Lark.

Synopsis

Before they sleep, Versa plants a bean and grows an asshole statue of herself that just insults her. Lurtak and Versa topple it and dunk it into the river.

Versa attempts to communicate with various gods and the BBESM, but hears nothing in return. Pine takes a Magic Cookie and asks what gods would take people like the party. Pine takes of the Bakery of Many, and pulls Strength:

VIII - Strength - You find yourself second guessing your split-second decisions and gain disadvantage on Initiative rolls. In addition, (pending player consent) your character channels their raw emotions more, becoming easily pleased or irritated, depending on the situation. These effects last until healed by Greater Restoration or Wish.

The party take a pit stop at the lake town of Dubbo. THey make friends with a guard who offers a 55 gold reward to clear out the oasis of beasts. He directs them to the oasis, located beyond the southeast corner of the lake.

During the Gael's watch that night, an arrow strikes ground near the camp.

They continue travel towards the Oasis, with Gael able to determine its location thanks to their leyline-sense. Pine waits behind with the horses ritually casting Detect Magic. Scorpions and a plant creature ambush the party, but the group dispatches them.

The location that lies before them is a waterflow heading beneath the ground. Several of them jump straight into it, leaving the others to catch up and jump in soon after. Gael gets separated going down into the dungeon.

After fighting some mushroom creatures and living trees, the party meet a Naiad, who presents the group with a deal to defeat the dryad who has taken over this dungeon.
